In Pixie, each client has an assigned client manager. The client manager is put in charge of any jobs created for the client. Even though there may be a team of persons working on the job, the client will interact mostly with one person: the client manager.
A client manager must be selected from the Client manager drop-down list while creating a new client.
Changing the Client Manager
If you want, you can always change the Client Manager for a client at any time.
NOTE: It is not advisable to change the manager for a client. Clients will find it less confusing if they interact with only one person from your organisation. It also helps build trust with the client.
Changing the Client Manager is a 3-step process:
- Click the Clients icon in the sidebar menu.
- Select the client entry.
- Select another client manager from the Client manager drop-down list.
Click the Clients icon in the sidebar menu. Pixie will display the list of clients.
TIP: If you have many clients, you can use the Search bar to quickly locate the client entry.
Click the client entry to view its details.
Select a person from the Client manager drop-down list.
Pixie will update the client’s entry. In future, all communication with the client will happen using the new client manager’s email address. The new client manager will be in charge of new jobs created for the client.
As you have seen in this article, you need to assign a client manager for every client entry that you create in Pixie. The client manager will handle all jobs related to that client. All job-related emails will go to the client in the Client Manager’s name. Since there is only one person communicating with the client, it will help build trust with the client.
Pixie allows you to change the client manager assigned to a client. In case the assigned client manager is unable to meet his job responsibilities, you can always change the person assigned as the manager for a client.
